Hier zunächst die Meldungen aus der DIG
Wir freuen uns, heute wieder ein neues DIG-Mitglied begrüßen zu können. Dirk Klossek aus Dortmund, DO1EDK, hat die DIG-Nummer 6568 erhalten. Dirk gehört dem Ortsverband O33 an.
Dirk, herzlich willkommen in der Diplom-Interessen-Gruppe und viel Spaß und Erfolg weiterhin beim Sammeln von Amateurfunk-Diplomen.
Mit der Zuteilung unseres Standes auf der HAM RADIO 2026 ist deutlich geworden, dass wir
auch in diesem Jahr wieder auf der HAM RADIO in Friedrichshafen präsent sein werden, und zwar in der Halle A1 der Stand 252, mit anderen Worten: derselbe Stand wie im Vorjahr.

Nun zu den Contest-Terminen, die vor uns liegen – alle Zeiten UTC
Conteste grundsätzlich nicht auf WARC-Bändern
- Von Samstag, 25. April 1200 UTC bis Sonntag 26. April 1200 UTC findet der UK-EI-DX-Contest auf den Bändern von 80 bis 10 m in der Betriebsart CW statt.
- Der Helvetia Contest läuft von Samstag, 25. April 1300 UTC bis Sonntag 26. April 1259 UTC auf den Bändern von 160 bis 10 m in CW, SSB und Digimodes.
- Für RTTY-Freunde gibt es am kommenden Wochenende gleich zwei Conteste: der SP DX RTTY Contest von Samstag, 25. April 1200 UTC bis Sonntag, 26. April 1200 UTC auf den Bändern 80 – 10 m und am Sonntag, 26. April von 1700 bis 2059 der BARTG RTTY Sprint, ebenfalls von 80 bis 10 m.

Was gibt es an Meldungen zum Thema Aktivitäten ?
- 3B9 Ródrigues Island: VU3OPT ist noch bis zum 20. Mai als 3B9B von AF-017 auf 20, 15 und 10 m in CW aktiv. QSL über VU3OPT
- 7P, Lesotho. Ein italienisches Team ist von heute, 23. April bis zum 1. Mai auf den Bändern 40 bis 10 m unter dem Rufzeichen 7P8WR in CW und FT8 zu hören.
- FO/M, Marquesas Islands (IOTA OC-027). VA7YM plant, vom 23. April bis zum 20. Juli als FO/VA7YM QRV zu sein. Betrieb von 160 bis 6 m in SSB, CW und Digimodes. QSL über EA5GL
- Eine Expedition nach Morokulien unternehmen Ingomar, DL9ET, Jörg, DK3JF und Martin, DK4WM vom 27. April bis zum 2. Mai. Morokulien ist ein sechs Hektar großes, grenzüberschreitendes Gebiet zwischen Schweden und Norwegen, das 1914 zur Feier des hundertjährigen Friedens zwischen beiden Ländern eingerichtet wurde und das markante Friedensmonument beherbergt. Die Funkstation in der ehemaligen Grenzstation nutzt die Rufzeichen LG5LG und SJ9WL, wobei das Rufzeichen täglich gewechselt wird. Die Gruppe wird aktiv sein von 160 bis 6 m in Phonie, RTTY, FT 4/8 und CW. QSL über LA7TIA, eventuell auch über LoTW. Wer mindestens zwei Kontakte mit jedem der beiden Rufzeichen, also 4 QSOs, erreicht hat, kann das Morokulien Award erwerben. Abschließend kommen wir nun zu den Diplom-Informationen:
235. Geburtstag von Samuel Morse
Kurzzeitdiplom 17. bis 27.04.2026
Ungarische Funkamateure des dortigen IARU-Verbandes MRASZ erinnern mit dieser Aktivität an den 235. Geburtstag von Samuel Morse. Dazu werden die Sonderrufzeichen HA235MSE, HA235S, HA235A, HA235M, HA235U, HA235E, HA235L, HA235O und HA235R vom 17. bis 27. April 2026 betrieben, die in CW und SSB aktiv sind.
Dazu wird auch ein Erinnerungs-Diplom angeboten. Dafür muss man mit den Suffix-Buchstaben der Sonderrufzeichen den Namen SAMUEL MORSE buchstabieren. Die Buchstaben M, S und E kommen zweimal vor. Die müssen dann zum einen mit HA235MSE gearbeitet werden und dann noch einmal mit HA235M, HA235S und HA235E.
Alle QSOs der Sonderrufzeichen werden in eine Datei hochgeladen. Auf der Website mrasz.org/award-download kann man dann nachsehen, was man alles erreicht hat und im Erfolgsfall auch sein Diplom herunterladen. Die Logs werden auch auf LoTW und ClubLog hochgeladen. Papier-QSLs gehen auch über ClubLog OQRS.

With the assignment of our booth for HAM RADIO 2026, it is now official: we will once again be present in Friedrichshafen this year. You can find us in Hall A1, Booth 252 – in other words, the same location as last year. HAM RADIO will take place from June 26th to June 28th, 2026.

Upcoming Contest Dates (all times UTC)
Contests generally do not take place on WARC bands.
- From Saturday, April 25, 1200 UTC to Sunday, April 26, 1200 UTC the UK-EI-DX-Contest takes place in CW on the bands from 80 to 10 meters.
- The Helvetia Contest will run from Saturday, April 25, 1300 UTC to Sunday, April 26, 1259 UTC on 160 to 10 m in CW, SSB and digimodes.
- For RTTY-friends we have two contestes next weekend: the SP DX RTTY Contest takes place from April 25 1200 UTC to Apil 26, 1200 UTC on 80 to 10m, the BARTG RTTY Sprint on Sunday from 1700 to 2059, also from 80 to 10m.

- 3B9 Ródrigues Island: VU3OPT is still active until May, 20 as 3B9B from AF-017 on 20, 15 and 10 m in CW aktiv. QSL via VU3OPT
- 7P, Lesotho. An italienien team is to hear from today, April 23. to May 1 on the bands 40 to 10 m with the call sign 7P8WR in CW and FT8.

- From April 27 to May 2, a team consisting of Martin (DK4WM), Jörg (DK3JF) and Ingomar (DL9ET), will be active from the amateur radio station in Morokulien, that is a unique six-hectare cross-border area between Norway and Sweden. It was established in 1914 to commemorate a century of peace between the two nations and is home to the famous Peace Monument. The radio station itself is situated directly on the border. Because of this unique location, the station has two callsigns, LG5LG (Norway) and SJ9WL (Sweden). The team will be alternating between them on a daily basis.
The station will operate on all HF bands (160-6m) in SSB, RTTY,FT8/FT4 (CW). QSL via QSL Manager Sverre Aarstaft (LA7TIA). LoTW is also potentially available.
Award: The „Morokulien Award“ can be earned by making at least two contacts with each callsign (4 QSOs in total). Please send log excerpts to LA7TIA for the award. Fee: 50SEK/NOK to support the station upkeep. Info www.sj9wl-lg5lg.com
Finaly we come to the Award Informations:
235th anniversary of Samuel Morse
Between April 17, 00.00 UT and 27 April 24.00 UT, special event callsigns will be heard on the bands, and stations that meet the appropriate conditions may request a downloadable commemorative card.
The name of SAMUEL MORSE shall be put together from the contacts made with the callsigns representing each letter. Since some letters occur twice in the name, there will also be a joker station with a callsign of HA235MSE, which can be used to replace the callsigns containing the second M, S, and E. It is enough to work with this station once as well.
Special event stations will be available in CW and SSB modes. The data of the QSOs made on each day will be entered in the LOG created on the MRASZ website for this purpose, where those interested can check their QSOs.
The QSOs are uploaded to LoTW and Clublog. QSL card not required. Anyone who wants a QSL card about QSOs, can request it through Clublog.
